    Danboline protects bilges, lockers and bulkheads against moisture penetration and wear and tear. Danboline will resist oil and fuel spillage and cleans easily.

    APPLICATION AND USE
    Preparation PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES:
    In Good Condition: Wash down with Super Cleaner, rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Abrade with 180-280 grade paper.
    In Poor Condition: Remove all previous coatings and prime the substrate.
    PRIMING: All preparation for bare substrates is covered on the appropriate primer datasheet.
    BARE WOOD: Prime with Yacht Primer or UCP.
    STEEL: Prime with Yacht Primer or Interprotect®.
    ALUMINIUM: Prime with Etch Primer followed by either Yacht Primer or Interprotect.
    GRP: Wash down with Super Cleaner, rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Abrade with 180-220 grade paper. Particular attention should be given to the reverse side of moulded GRP. No priming necessary.


    Method Sand the primer using 180-280 grade wet or dry paper. Remove dust with a dust wipe. Apply 1-2 coats. For added protection against moisture absorption and osmosis in the bilges, use Gelshield products.


    Hints Mixing Stir well before use.
    Thinner Thinner No.1 (Thinner No.10 for spraying)
    Cleaner Thinners No.1
    Ventilation and Humidity Control Apply in dry, well ventilated conditions.
    Conventional Spray Pressure: 3-4 bar. Tip Size: 1.2 mm. Thin approximately 20% with Thinners No.10.
    Other For added protection against moisture absorption and osmosis in the bilges, use Gelshield® products.


    Some Important Points Product temperature should be minimum 15°C and maximum 35°C. Ambient temperature should be minimum 5°C/40°F and maximum 35°C/95°F. Substrate temperature should be minimum 5°C/40°F and maximum 35°C/95°F.


    Compatibility/Substrates Suitable for all substrates specified. Only overcoat with one-pack paints.

    TRANSPORTATION,STORAGE AND SAFETY INFORMATION
    Storage GENERAL INFORMATION:
    Exposure to air and extremes of temperature should be avoided. For the full shelf life of Danboline to be realised ensure that between use the container is firmly closed and the temperature is between 5°C/40°F and 35°C/95°F. Keep out of direct sunlight.
    TRANSPORTATION:
    Danboline should be kept in securely closed containers during transport and storage.

    Safety GENERAL: Read the label safety section for Health and Safety Information, also available from our Technical Help Line.
    DISPOSAL: Do not discard tins or pour paint into water courses, use the facilities provided. It is best to allow paints to harden before disposal.
    Remainders of Danboline cannot be disposed of through the municipal waste route or dumped without permit. Disposal of remainders must be arranged for in consultation with the authorities.
