PRODUCT DESCRIPTION VC Prop-O-Drev Primer is specially formulated for use with Prop-O-Drev on outdrives, outboard legs, propellers and sterngear. * Aerosol ideal for painting awkward shapes It offers excellent adhesion to properly prepared metal and factory enamelled surfaces. APPLICATION AND USE Preparation Shield nearby areas and clean surface with VC General Thinner. Sand with 120 grade wet and dry paper, used dry, wiping clean with VC General Thinner. Method Spray 10-25 cm (4-10") from the surface. Apply second coat following overcoating times specified. Hints Mixing Shake can thoroughly. Cleaner YTA600 VC General Thinner. Some Important Points Product temperature should be minimum 0°C and maximum 35°C. Ambient temperature should be minimum 0°C/32°F and maximum 35°C/95°F. Substrate temperature should be minimum 1°C above dew point and maximum 35°C. Compatibility/Substrates For use on Aluminium/Alloy, Zinc-sprayed Surfaces and Lead. Also suitable for factory enamelled finishes. Number of Coats 2 Coverage (Theoretical) - 3.33 (m²/lt) 1 m²/300 ml can. Recommended DFT Application Methods Aerosol can TRANSPORTATION,STORAGE AND SAFETY INFORMATION Storage GENERAL INFORMATION: Exposure to air and extremes of temperature should be avoided. For the full shelf life of VC Prop-O-Drev Primer to be realised ensure that between use the container is firmly closed and the temperature is between 5°C/40°F and 35°C/95°F. Keep out of direct sunlight. TRANSPORTATION: VC Prop-O-Drev Primer should be kept in securely closed containers during transport and storage. Safety GENERAL: Read the label safety section for Health and Safety Information, also available from our Technical Help Line. DISPOSAL: Do not discard tins or pour paint into water courses, use the facilities provided. It is best to allow paints to harden before disposal. Remainders of VC Prop-O-Drev Primer cannot be disposed of through the municipal waste route or dumped without permit. Disposal of remainders must be arranged for in consultation with the authorities.
