Our very first blog update for 2012! The Network Yacht Brokers team embarked on the journey to London for the 2012 Boat show. Battleing the cold, our sales team worked the long hours to provide clients with their expert opinions, and knowledge of the Jeanneau Range. Network Yacht Brokers was lead through the British weather by Director Robert Woodward, we enjoyed a successful show, and we're hoping for many more to come.

Honda Marine are launching their new 250hp Model, the BF250 - the largest and most powerful available in their range. We've supported Honda, and been Official Honda Marine Dealers for a very long time, our Honda Range can be seen below;

Honda have always led the way in producing efficient, reliable engines. With the recent trend of using outboard drive systems on ever larger boats, Honda has developed this flagship model to meet the high standards of it's smaller siblings.
As technology for 4-stroke outboard engines has gathered pace, the argument for using larger engines has grown, and similarly the reasons NOT to use them (cost, efficiency, weight) have been eroded dramatically. A number of new sportsboats and sportfishers are now available that use the larger horsepower outboard engines such as the New Jeanneau Merry Fisher 755 and 855 models. Dear Mariners! All of us at Network Yacht Chandlers would like to thank everyone who took part in the "Secure your boat" weekend. It was a great success thanks to the efforts of everybody involved and the co-operation between Network Yacht Chandlers, and Conwy Marina Berth Holders Association (CMBHA). Eric Crowther was on station in the Chandlers to receive your questions about securing your boat correctly last weekend, although many of you did not take advantage of his free advice we would like to thank him for his efforts.
Each year at Conwy we see the return of strong winds, and with them comes increased mooring risk. Every year boats break free from there moorings or pontoon, more often than not causing massive amounts of damage, destroying property. This doesn't have to be the case, it's up to all of us to keep a watchful eye out for potential issues this winter, it's not just your own mooring lines you should be looking out for. Look to the boats moored next to you, is the owner responsible enough to have good enough lines, what happens if his boat breaks free next to yours?. Everybody has a responsibility to each other to ensure a working marina, keeping Conwy a low-insurance related risk area holds countless benafits.
Network Yacht Chandlers and CMBHA are dedicated to confronting this issue, hence due to the positive response to the "Secure your boat" weekend, we are extending our 30% discount untill the end of december. Network Yacht Chandlers has had a make-over; months of hard work, preperation and dedication have paid off today when the new "skin" of the yachtchandlers website went live. We're all really excited with the changes, hopefully our customers will be just as thrilled as we are.
Network Yacht Chandlers has been under constant improvement for years and there will always be something we are trying to change to make us more efficient. We aim to give the best services we can possibly provide, and always welcome feedback from customers.

Southampton International Boat Show!
Network Yacht Brokers are back this week after a hard 12 days of working the stands and showing off Jeanneau’s impressive range of Power, Sail and Prestige Boats & Yachts.
Whilst the show was smaller than in years gone by, overall we believe the show was a great success. We suffered through torrential downpours which put off all but the sturdiest of customers, but also had some brilliant weather which helped us come away from the boat show with plenty of leads to be chasing up which will keep us rushed off our feet for a good few weeks to come. After the success that was Southampton boat show, Network Yacht Brokers are now looking forward to the London boat show in January, which will hopefully be just as fruitful.

With Southampton boat show looming, we are all feeling the pressure. Our Prestige 350 has started its journey to SIBS and is due to be proudly displayed on the Prestige Stand in Maytflower Park. Accompanying the Prestige will be the Network Yacht Brokers Conwy team who look forward to putting in the hard work that makes us what we are today. After the boat show the Prestige will be returning to a new anxious owner awaiting its safe delivery. We hope to see you at Southampton!
Conwy river taxi is having its annual inspection, keeping up with our customers high expectations and standards. Alex, the Taxi's new driver is looking forward to finishing his training within the next week and will continue to operate throughout the winter and next season.
